Bill 杰克逊 '75 and Martha Foley '76

In spring 2004, UNH alumni Martha and Bill 杰克逊 established the 玛莎L. Foley ’76 ’96G and William S. 杰克逊75年 Fund for International Studies to encourage students to participate in a 研究 abroad experience through the University of New Hampshire. 的ir passion for giving was inspired by Martha's junior year in France, which she credits as one of the best experiences of her life, and Bill's 26-year career with Tyco International, where he had significant global responsibilities and came to value the importance of international experience. 每学期, Foley-杰克逊 scholarship 提供了5美元,000 in financial assistance to students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, strong motivation and financial need.

克雷格·阿博特70年 has had a distinguished career in business and service to UNH, including as director of the 校友 Association Board. Perhaps one of his most profound legacies is the creation of the Endowment for International Studies in 2001, 从哪个, thanks to his generosity, more than 40 students have received scholarships to 研究 and do research abroad. Phurpa "Phil" G. LadenLa '59 and Sophie C. LadenLa established a significant scholarship for international students in 2001 and named it in honor of former associate professor of forestry Bertram Husch. Husch served as foreign student advisor during Phil's junior and senior years at UNH.
